AXIS Bank announces Q2 results

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008:
The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 4029.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 2278.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 20593.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 to Rs 32394.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.
